Fixed Ball Valve
Introduction:
The fixed ball valve is a new generation of high-performance ball valve, which is suitable for long-distance transmission pipelines and general industrial pipelines. Its strength, safety, and resistance to harsh environments have been specially considered in the design, and it is suitable for various corrosive and non corrosive media. Compared with the floating ball valve, when it works, all the forces generated by the fluid pressure in front of the valve on the ball are transmitted to the bearing, which will not make the ball move towards the valve seat, so the valve seat will not bear excessive pressure. Therefore, the fixed ball valve has small torque, small deformation of the valve seat, stable sealing performance, and long service life, and is suitable for high-pressure and large caliber applications. Advanced spring pre seat assembly, with self tightening characteristics, realizes upstream sealing. Each valve has two valve seats, which can be sealed in each direction, so the installation has no flow restriction and is bidirectional. This valve is generally installed horizontally.
Function:
1. Double blocking and discharging function: The fixed ball valve uses spring to pre tighten the floating valve seat. No matter the valve is in the fully open or fully closed state, the valve seats at the upstream and downstream sides block the fluid, and the residues in the cavity of the valve body are discharged through the discharge valve.
2. Automatic pressure relief function: In case of abnormal pressure rise caused by the rising temperature of the medium in the valve body cavity, it is not necessary to pass the safety valve, but only the valve seat function can automatically relieve the pressure, which is very important to ensure the safety of the valve when delivering liquid medium.
3. Fire safety structure: all valves have fire safety functions, and their design and manufacture comply with API 607 and API 6FA specifications.
