Lift Check Valve
Introduction:
Lift check valve refers to the valve that automatically opens and closes the valve clack depending on the flow of the medium itself, and is used to prevent the backflow of the medium, also known as check valve, one-way valve, backflow valve, and back pressure valve. The check valve belongs to an automatic valve, which is mainly used to prevent the backflow of medium, prevent the reverse rotation of pump and drive motor, and discharge the container medium. The check valve can also be used to feed the auxiliary system whose pressure may rise above the system pressure. The check valve can be divided into swing check valve (rotating according to the center of gravity) and lift check valve (moving along the axis).
Installation and maintenance:
1. Both ends of the valve passage must be blocked, and there is a dry and ventilated room. If it is stored for a long time, the rust prevention shall be checked frequently.
2. The valve shall be cleaned before installation and the defects caused during transportation shall be eliminated.
3. During installation, carefully check whether the marks and nameplates on the valves meet the operating requirements.
4. Lift type vertical flap check valve shall be installed on horizontal pipeline.
5. Lift type horizontal flap check valve shall be installed on the vertical pipeline.
6. The check valve shall not bear weight in the pipeline. Large check valves shall be independently supported so that they are not affected by the pressure generated by the pipeline system.
7. When installing the check valve, pay special attention to the flow direction of the medium, and make sure that the normal flow direction of the medium is consistent with the arrow direction indicated on the valve body, otherwise the normal flow of the medium will be cut off. The bottom valve shall be installed at the bottom of the water pump suction pipe.
8. The general lifting check valve shall be installed on the horizontal pipeline, while the vertical lifting check valve and bottom valve are generally installed on the vertical pipeline, and the medium flows from bottom to top.
9. When the check valve is closed, water hammer pressure will be generated in the pipeline, which will cause damage to the valve, pipeline or equipment in serious cases. Especially for large mouth pipeline or high-pressure pipeline, it should be highly noticed by the check valve selector.
