Full Lift Safety Valve
Introduction:
The main parameter of the safety valve is the discharge capacity, which is determined by the diameter of the valve seat and the opening height of the valve disc. Depending on the opening height, the safety valve can be divided into two types: micro opening type and full opening type. Slightly open type means that the opening height of the valve disc is 1/40-l/20 of the valve seat throat diameter. Full open type means that the opening height of the valve disc is 1/4 of the valve seat throat diameter.
Full lift safety valve: when applied to steam medium, there is usually a sudden full open action, and the pressure of this sudden open action is the set pressure (sudden jump pressure); When it is applied to air medium, first open it in proportion to the increase of inlet pressure, and then suddenly take off to fully open it, which is called two-stage opening; Generally, it cannot be used for liquid medium.
Slightly open safety valve: first open it and the opening height increases in proportion to the increase of inlet pressure. When the pressure drops, the opening height also decreases in proportion to the decrease of inlet pressure. It is generally used for liquid media (or for compressible gas when protecting pipelines).
