Piston Type Pressure Reducing Valve
Introduction:
The piston pressure reducing valve balances the pressure through the piston and drives the valve disc to move. This type of pressure reducing valve has a small volume and a large allowable stroke of the piston. However, because the friction force of the piston in the cylinder is large, its sensitivity is lower than that of the membrane pressure reducing valve. In addition, its manufacturing process requirements are strict, especially for the piston, piston ring, cylinder block, auxiliary valve and other parts. If they are used on the steam pressure reducing valve, the expansion gap of these parts after being heated is difficult to control, which is easy to cause jamming or air leakage, affecting its sensitivity. In spite of this, the pressure reducing valve with this structure is still widely used, especially when the medium temperature is high, because the membrane pressure reducing valve is difficult to solve due to the high temperature resistant membrane material, a large number of piston pressure reducing valves are still used. Water, air and other media can also be selected.
