Forged Steel Globe Valve
Introduction:
Forged steel globe valves have three cover designs. The first is the bolted bonnet. For the valve designed according to this design, the valve body and bonnet are connected with bolts and nuts, and the spiral wound gasket (made of 316 sandwiched with flexible graphite) is used for sealing. When customers have special requirements, metal rings can also be used for connection. The second design form is welded bonnet. The valve body and bonnet of the valve with this design form are connected by threads and sealed by full welding. Full welded connection can also be used when customers have special requirements. The third type is the pressure self tightening bonnet. The valve body and bonnet of the valve designed according to this design form are connected by threads.
Design structure and features:
The design and manufacture of stop valve shall conform to API602, BS5352 and ASME B16.34. The inspection and test shall be conducted according to API 598, and the marking shall be conducted according to MSS-SP-25.
