Low Temperature Butterfly Valve
Introduction:
Low temperature butterfly valve, also known as flap valve, is a kind of regulating valve with simple structure, and can also be used for switching control of low pressure pipeline medium. Butterfly valve refers to a kind of valve whose closing part (disc or butterfly plate) is a disc and rotates around the valve axis to open and close. It mainly plays the role of cutting off and throttling on the pipeline. The butterfly valve opening and closing piece is a disc shaped butterfly plate, which rotates around its own axis in the valve body to achieve the purpose of opening and closing or adjustment. The butterfly valve is applicable to the pipeline transporting various corrosive and non corrosive fluid media in engineering systems such as generator, gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, urban gas, cold and hot air, chemical smelting, power generation and environmental protection, and is used to regulate and cut off the flow of media.
Advantages of low-temperature butterfly valve:
1. The opening and closing is convenient and fast, labor saving, and the fluid resistance is small, so it can be operated frequently.
2. Simple structure, small size, short structure length, small volume, light weight, suitable for large caliber valves.
3. The slurry can be transported, and the liquid * * * accumulated at the pipe mouth is small.
4. Under low pressure, good sealing can be achieved.
5. Good adjustment performance.
6. When the valve seat is fully opened, the effective flow area of the valve seat channel is large and the fluid resistance is small.
7. The opening and closing torque is small. Since the butterfly plates on both sides of the shaft are basically equal under the action of the medium, the direction of the torque generated is opposite, so the opening and closing is labor-saving.
8. The sealing surface materials are generally rubber and plastic, so the low pressure sealing performance is good.
