Low Temperature Valves
Introduction:
It includes cryogenic ball valve, cryogenic gate valve, cryogenic stop valve, cryogenic safety valve, cryogenic check valve, cryogenic butterfly valve, cryogenic needle valve, cryogenic throttle valve, cryogenic pressure reducing valve, etc. It is mainly used for ethylene, liquefied natural gas devices, natural gas LPG LNG tanks, receiving bases and satellite stations, air separation equipment, petrochemical tail gas separation equipment, cryogenic storage tanks and tank cars for liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, carbon dioxide PSA oxygen generation device. The output liquid cryogenic medium, such as ethylene, liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum products, is not only flammable and explosive, but also needs to be gasified when heating up. When gasifying, the volume expands hundreds of times.
Editing and broadcasting of low-temperature valve definition:
Different standards have different definitions for cryogenic valves. For example, the British valve standard BS6364 Valves for Low Temperature Service is applicable to the medium temperature range of – 50 ℃~- 196 ℃; The American standard MSSSP-134, Requirements for Low Temperature Valves and Their Body/Bonnet Extensions, explains that the low temperature is “- 100 ℃~- 195 ℃ for standard practices”; The Chinese national standard GB/T 24925 Technical Conditions for Low Temperature Valves is applicable to the medium temperature range of – 29 ℃~- 196 ℃; Shell valve standard SHELL MESC SPE 77/200 Valves for Low and Ultra Low Temperature is applicable to the medium temperature range of – 30 ℃~- 196 ℃. According to the liquefaction temperature of various gases under normal pressure, there are generally six temperature classes abroad. The first level is 0~- 46 ℃, the second level is – 47~- 60 ℃, the third level is – 61~- 70 ℃, the fourth level is – 71~- 101 ℃, the fifth level is – 102~- 196 ℃, and the sixth level is below – 253 ℃. Generally, – 46~- 150 ℃ is called low temperature, and below – 150 ℃ is called ultra-low temperature.
