Introduction:

The midline butterfly valve is a component used to realize the on-off and flow control of the pipeline system. It has been widely used in many fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, hydropower and so on.

Structural features:

The structural feature of the midline butterfly valve is that the valve stem axis, butterfly plate center and body center are at the same position. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure and convenient manufacture. Common rubber lined butterfly valves belong to this category. The disadvantage is that the butterfly plate and the valve seat are always in a state of extrusion and scraping, with large resistance distance and fast wear. In order to overcome extrusion, scraping and ensure sealing performance, the valve seat is basically made of elastic materials such as rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene. However, the use of sealing materials is also limited by temperature, which is why people traditionally believe that butterfly valves are not resistant to high temperatures.
