The pneumatic actuator has a relatively fast execution speed, with the fastest switching speed of 0.05 seconds/time, so it is also commonly called the pneumatic quick cut-off ball valve. Pneumatic ball valves are usually equipped with various accessories, such as solenoid valves, air source treatment triplets, limit switches, positioners, control boxes, etc., to achieve local control and remote centralized control. The valve can be controlled in the control room, without the need to run to the site or high altitude and dangerous areas for manual control, which greatly saves human resources, time and safety.

Pneumatic ball valve can be divided into O-type ball valve and V-type ball valve. The O-type ball valve adopts floating structure, the ball core is precision casting, the surface is plated with hard chrome, the valve seat is made of reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene material, the flow port is the same as the pipe diameter, the flow capacity is great, the flow resistance is very small, and there is no leakage when closing. It is generally used as an on-off valve, especially suitable for high viscosity; The V-shaped ball valve adopts a fixed structure, and the ball core is provided with a V-shaped notch, which can shear fiber containing and granular media. Pneumatic or electric actuators can be selected according to different process equipment to form pneumatic ball valves and electric ball valves respectively. Pneumatic ball valves must be equipped with valve positioners for proportional adjustment. Electric ball valves must be equipped with electronic electric actuators or servo amplifiers for proportional adjustment.
