    Pressure Reducing Valves

    Introduction:

Reducing valve regulates the flow of medium by controlling the opening of the opening and closing parts in the valve body to reduce the pressure of the medium. At the same time, it regulates the opening of the opening and closing parts with the help of the pressure behind the valve to keep the pressure behind the valve within a certain range, and injects cooling water into the valve body or behind the valve to reduce the temperature of the medium. This valve is called a pressure reducing and temperature reducing valve. The characteristic of the valve is to keep the outlet pressure and temperature within a certain range when the inlet pressure is constantly changing. The pressure reducing valve is an essential accessory of the pneumatic control valve, which is mainly used to reduce and stabilize the pressure of the air source to a fixed value, so that the control valve can obtain stable air power for regulation and control. This type of valve shall be installed horizontally in the pipeline.

    Voltage regulating range:

The pressure regulating range refers to the adjustable control range of the pressure reducing valve output pressure P2, within which the specified accuracy is required. The pressure regulating range is mainly related to the stiffness of the pressure regulating spring.

    Pressure characteristics:

Pressure characteristics refer to the characteristics of output pressure fluctuation caused by input pressure fluctuation when the flow rate g is a fixed value. The smaller the output pressure fluctuation, the better the characteristics of the pressure reducing valve. The output pressure must be lower than the input pressure – the fixed value basically does not change with the input pressure.

    Flow characteristics:

Flow characteristic refers to the consistency of input pressure timing, output pressure changing with output flow g. When the flow rate g changes, the smaller the change of output pressure is, the better. Generally, the lower the output pressure, the smaller the fluctuation with the output flow.
