Weir Diaphragm Valve
Introduction:
Weir diaphragm valve is specially used for controlling corrosive media. It can be used for opening, closing and throttling on all kinds of pipelines or equipment.
Scope of Application:
Diaphragm valve is widely used in urban construction, chemical industry, metallurgy, petroleum, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, environmental protection.
Features:
Multiple material availability: (many different body and diaphragm materials)
Slurry applications: with streamlined flow paths and no chambers (cavities in the valve tend to trap solid particles, or increase the operating torque of the valve, or hinder the
operation), it is an ideal valve for slurries.
High Purity Applications: Reduce particle production and product retention.
Corrosive Applications: Wide selection of plastic liners and PTFE diaphragms, spray-on corrosion-resistant
coating that provides an excellent barrier against chemical attack and
corrosion.
Airtight Closure: Hanover Weir Diaphragm Valves are available from 0.1 micron to 300 psi
Airtight closure on line
Bonnet Isolation: The working parts are isolated from the process fluid.
Secondary Seal: If the diaphragm fails, the optional sealing bonnet will provide a secondary seal
used to prevent the process medium from entering the atmosphere.
Vacuum application: airtight closure can be achieved, as small as 0.1 microns.
