Welding Gate Valve
Introduction:
The opening and closing part of the welded gate valve is a plug-shaped valve disc, the sealing surface is flat or conical, and the valve disc moves linearly along the center line of the fluid. The movement form of the valve stem includes lifting rod type (the valve stem rises and falls, but the handwheel does not rise and fall), and lifting rotating rod type (the handwheel rotates and rises together with the valve stem, and the nut is set on the valve body). The bellows stop valve is only applicable to full opening and full closing, and adjustment and throttling are not allowed.
Maintenance method:
The hand wheel and handle operated bellows stop valve can be installed at any position of the pipeline. Handwheel, handle and pneumatic mechanism are not allowed to be used for lifting. The flow direction of medium shall be consistent with the arrow direction shown on the valve body. Welded gate valve, also known as cut-off valve, is a widely used valve. Its popularity is due to the small friction between the sealing surfaces during the opening and closing process, which is relatively durable. The opening height is not high, easy to manufacture and easy to maintain. It is not only suitable for medium and low pressure, but also suitable for high pressure. Its closing principle is to make the sealing surface of the valve disc and the sealing surface of the valve seat closely fit with the pressure of the valve rod to prevent the medium from flowing.
